“ We went to drop off something at a friends house and stopped at the Ramshackle Cafe. Summer was a great server! The food was good. I had the Steak Wrap, and my husband had the Steak Sandwich and chili. Play also ordered egg rolls. Everything was very tasty, but the chili was exceptional! ”

“ Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday while out and about. Parking was easy as was being seated, this was around noon but it did get a little busier before we left. Our server was very attentive and friendly, and our food came out accurately and hot. We had the cheese curds appetizer which were cooked perfectly, but didnt have a ton of flavor in the curds or sauce. We still liked them ok. We both ordered burgers which are incredibly reasonably priced and could only eat half. I had the chili burger which I hadnt had since I had come here as a teenager, and my daughter had the shack and cheesy burger. My chili burger was spot on. A knife and fork experience of course, but just an awesome comfort food. It had a little tiny bit of spicy somewhere between black pepper and jalapeno and was smothered in chili cheese and onions. The shack and cheese burger got a great review too other than she thought it could have used a sauce as it was a little dry. The combination of flavors and freshness of the toppings were perfect though. We both really liked their fries and we arent french fry people. They are the super crispy, but pillowy on the inside kind and went great with all the chili and cheese I had on my plate. I would absolutely recommend giving Ramshackles a shot if you havent been. Some complain about parking, but I saw a ton of open spots between the two lots they have available. We will definitely stop by the next time we are needing a bite and are on that side of town. ”

“ You cant get more local than Ramshackle Cafe. We visited on a bright, sunny day and sat inside by the bar. My companion ordered exactly what he orders Every. Single. Time....the chiliburger with well done fries. Amazingly, this massive meal fed him for two days and he was just as happy with it the second day as he was on the first. My fish and chips was Heavenly a massive slab of crunchy white fish and, again, well done fries. The food is great and our server was terrific. An comfortable place for a wonderful lunch. ”

“ This place was excellent. A friend recommended the restaurant and so thankful we listened. The food was excellent, it came out fast and hot, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect. Nice and cozy all American home feeling. We arrived at the restaurant rather than early at 1130a, plenty of parking and sitting available. However, not long after we sat down, the restaurant started filling up quickly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We were very happy with everything. ”

“ I love this place. I dont get to go there very often but when I do, Im never disappointed. They have a wife variety of meals to choose from, including many of the traditional types of dine in foods but with their own twist on many of them. They have a unique and friendly atmosphere with plenty of friendly faces. They keep good enough attention to make sure that your are satisfied but not so much that they are annoying you while youre trying to eat out with friends or family. Sports bar type atmosphere slightly but old time, retro diner style worked in. Not too old timey, but more like route 66 and the interstate type of environment. Its a favorite place for me to go eat at with my dad as part of our tradition and the prices are fair and manageable. Their fries have the best seasoning and if you frequent the place, youre sure to see a familiar face each time you stop by. Many of the employees have worked there for years. One of my top picks in the county. ”

“ I currently can think of one word to describe this gem of a food find...AMAZING. My son spotted Ramshackle during a recent drive to visit my mom, and we decided to try it...boy are we happy we did! My son ordered the Reuben, and I, the Firecracker Shrimp. We also ordered Potato skins and fried cauliflower to share. The food was served hot, served quickly, and tasted fresh. Our server, Mary, was great! She knew the menu...she could answer any questions we had about the dishes. The Reuben was IMMENSE! If you are questioning whether or not to stop in for a bite, let me make that decision for you...Just do it! ”

“ This is a downhome restaurant with a very laidback, relaxed vibe. Its perfect for families, seniors, singles, anyone, really. If you come once, youll want to come back! The staff is friendly. Then theres the food!! Deelishus!!!! We got buffalo wings, extra crispy, celery carrot sticks, with ranch bleu cheese dressings on the side. The wings were not battered which is what we wanted were wet per our request. They were served so heathot that we had to let them cool a bit before we could eat them without burning our mouths. Really freshly cooked! We also got onion rings, extra crispy, with the special sauce that has a touch of horseradish, giving it a little kick. Very delicious onion rings. The full order ended up being A LOT of onion rings! The sweet potato fries were scrumptious, even after theyd cooled off some. They are thin strips about 4 long. SO GOOD!!! We got a half order, and that was enough for us. Warning If youre buying the sweet potato fries for 2 or more people who can eat a lot, youll definitely want to get a full order for about every 23 people in your party. These fries make you wanna keep eating just one more because theyre that delicious! There is seating at tables small ones for 2 all the way to much larger tables for large family parties or friends from work, booths, or taller, round tables with the higher chairs. You can sit away from people, or do like we did sit at a 2chair table and get acquainted with the people next to you. Maybe a little bit like sitting at a hibachi table with several other people youve never met. Camaraderie just happens! So, if youre dining with others or are just eating alone, this is a GREAT place to go! Great appetizers, burgers, salads, sandwiches, wings. And I didnt even check out the desserts which I usually do even BEFORE I check the regular menu, but Im pretty sure they are marvelous! ”
